It’s officially Fall and that means cozy evenings full of reading! Even though I won’t have chilly weather for a while, I still love getting into the spirit of the season. I have an extensive to-be-read (TBR) list on my Goodreads account. So, I narrowed the list down to just a few that I am excited about at the moment. I’m currently reading Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. Life has been hectic lately, so I haven’t had much reading time, but I am loving this book so far.
My To-Be-Read List
The first book that I am excited about is The Butcher And The Wren, by Alaina Urquhart. Alaina is the co-host of one of my all-time favorite podcasts, Morbid. I pre-ordered her first novel and just received the notification that it is on the way! The novel follows a methodical killer who loves taunting the authorities that are searching for him.
I was listening to a podcast where author Iman Hariri-Kia explained the process of getting a book created. I ordered her book, A Hundred Other Girls, and have it ready to go on my Kindle! From the Goodreads page, it is described as a book that The Devil Wears Prada and The Bold Type fans would love, so I am excited about this one.
The last book that I am excited about is Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. I watched the first season of the series back in 2021. Luckily, it has been long enough that I don’t remember a lot of the details. It was a hard watch at times, so I’m sure the book will have its moments, but I think it is worth it for the storyline. Tully and Kate are best friends who have spent three decades doing life together, and Kristin Hannah takes readers on the journey of their messy lives.
